The wireless OEM WLAN Serial Server module is designed as a small, low cost 802.11b Wireless LAN Link for embedding into your OEM devices.

This is a complete module with all firmware and 802.11 wireless stack built in.
The on-board module interface async UART accepts either logic level (TTL) or RS232 signals.
The module can be commanded directly from the User’s embedded microcontroller.
Antenna can be embedded tuned ceramic pellet or external high gain type.
Compatibility: The wireless 802.11b OEM Module can connect with any 802.11bgn wireless network or access point in Infrastructure mode. In Ad Hoc Mode (peer-to-peer) the OEM module can connect to another OEM Module, Laptop, Notebook and any 802.11bgn compatible device.
Security: The wireless OEM Module supports IEEE 802.11 standard 64/128-bits WEP security.
